T2 Trainspotting brought up some old memories
One of the 90s most iconic drug movies, Trainspotting, recently got some refreshing after 20 years of its’ original heroine abusing debut. T2 reuinites us with our loveable Scottish junkies for a feast of dark nostalgia, bar fights, and near death experiences.
When these kinds of long awaited sequels emerge, they tend to bring up some flashbacks. However, Ewan Mcgregger isn’t our only classic adict/protaganist. So why not expand our minds to the other films with not-so-heroic heroes? For example: Requiem for a Dream, a staple of any young film buff’s watchlist. It chronicles the slippery downfall of Jared Letto and his hopeful family of adicts. Spoiler alert, it’s not a happy ending. Sequel anyone?
